Aurora Town Supervisor Chuck Snyder

Chuck Snyder has established a strong working relationship with County leaders like Legislator Lindsay Lorigo. This collaboration within the Aurora leadership has secured hundreds of thousands in grant dollars for the local community, offsetting repair costs for our Senior Center, Parks and Recreation Areas, and Playgrounds.

 Chuck also collaborates with fellow area Supervisors as a member of the Board of Directors for Erie County Governments. 

Thanks to the efforts of Aurora leadership and strong partnerships with State Leaders like Senator Gallivan, the Town of Aurora has secured $4.5 million through the NY Forward Program. This funding complements an additional $10 million awarded for vital bridge repairs and $480,000 for a new salt barn. Chuck Snyder's long-standing relationship with State officials has been instrumental in bringing this infrastructure relief to the local community, ensuring these financial burdens do not fall on taxpayers.

The Supervisor and the Mayor work closely to insure that our residents are safe at all times.  East Aurora hosts many events that bring thousands of visitors here to enjoy our Town.  Chief Welch and our local Law Enforcement Agents have done a remarkable job of keeping these events contained at all times.  In addition, Supervisor Snyder has been working directly with Chief Welch on upgrades to our existing courts building to insure the safety of our judges, officers and court personnel.

As a successful business owner and builder for over 50 years, Chuck brings the experience of teamwork, collaboration and budgeting to the Town Hall everyday.  He knows what it's like to have your money on the line every day and his fiscally conservative approach has helped the Town grow while banking reserves for future generations.  Being fair and budget conscious doesn't come easily to everyone especially if you don't have the experience, Chuck has a lifetime of experience in both the private sector and as your Supervisor.

Like many residents here in East Aurora, the Snyder's love this Town.  For the past 25 years, Chuck and his family along with many other community leaders have volunteered their time and energy to one of the largest non-profits we have who's sole purpose is to support the youth of our community.   The youth are our future and the hard work of all these volunteers have touch the lives of many who are less fortunate.  Without the behind-the-scenes work of these clubs, our community would look much different.
